I was in a wreck with three other cars. Not one of them thought to move to the turn lane right next to us that gets used maybe once a day. I had to yell at one guy to get him to move.

People are just dumb. There's nothing you can do about it

It’s not like there is going to be an in-depth investigation and moving them will throw the cops off.

OT ballers all have dash and rear cameras that record to the cloud to prove fault in case of a wreck.

Isn't illegal not to move now?

Your location isn't going to matter to police. They will screw up the report and/or the other people will lie anyway.

Your insurance companies will assign blame and pay accordingly.

Get out. Take a few pics. Move to the side.

Unless you exceed the cap on your policy which most people probably don't have enough coverage since we have 90k trucks and cars. Then you are on the hook.

I don't give a frick about you getting to kaydences game vs me on the hook for an extra 100k because some hood rat / trailer queen wants to get paid.

Maybe you shouldn't under insure your shite.

Again, you have a magic device in your pocket that takes pictures. The first thing a cop tells you to do is move. He doesn't give two fricks and isn't going to be taking measurements and chalking the street for your F250.

What would be so wrong with taking a video of the scene and then moving out of the way?

Wow, that's a hell of a thought process.

Probably foregoing that flood insurance because it don't flood where you live.

250/500/250 isn't that much of an increase.

You realize its the law to move out of lanes of travel correct? The cars don't have to be in place to be able to tell what happened.

I agree. This is mandatory in Georgia.

I'm not sure about other states. I did have a Mississippi cop tell me I should have left my car in the road after a wreck years ago. Law aside, I think that's very wrong-headed.
