Near you, I think walk-ons will be your best bet when it is finished. If you want to go into Mandeville there is Time's, Rusty Pelican, and Old Rail where you can get some decent food, beer, and catch a game. I came here two years ago to ask the same question, got those three suggestions (plus Chimes) and really enjoyed all four of those places. LOVE CHIMES, but too crowded on game days.

Some of the problem might be the shitton of new subdivisions being built around here. I lived in Madison Farms from 2000-2005 and really liked it. Moved to a bigger home and larger lot but this neighborhood doesn't have the same spirit of the old one.

It's a great neighborhood for a starter home with great schools. I'm gonna just keep dropping the price until it sells. All I can do at this point.

How many bedrooms/bathrooms. If I'm going to spread the word, and I will, then I'll need some info amigo.

A Buddy of mine sold his house in Madison Farms a couple of months ago. I was truly blown away at what he got for it / SF. He lived on the corner of Belington and Calumet.
