I'm currently tying Bark on a free trial. It's OK. The problem is that Apple makes it difficult for 3rd party monitoring. So all of these tools are not the most ideal for iPhones. Looking at others to try next.

re: Bosch or Kitchenaid Dishwasher
Posted by Bronceaux on 2/13/19 at 7:23 pm
I've had Bosch and currently have Kitchenaid. Love the Kitchenaid. I'm not sure why, but the Bosch had a sour smell to it most of the time. It also didn't do well drying the dishes. The Kitchenaid is quiet, doesn't have a smell and dries very well!!

Rental Business - is it worth it?
Posted by Bronceaux on 10/10/16 at 2:37 pm
Does anyone have any general knowledge of the equipment rental business? I realize this is a wide open question, but I'm going to look at an existing business that is for sale. They rent out tents, wedding/party supplies, DIY equipment, and small professional equipment (bobcats, back hoes, etc.).
I haven't seen the financials, but hope to soon. I'm really wondering whether or not this is a type of business that is a great long term investment that I can grow. I would love to eventually get into heavy equipment as I see that is where there is longer rental periods with higher margins.
Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

re: WatchESPN in Europe
Posted by Bronceaux on 6/11/15 at 2:57 am
ESPN Player is available in Europe for €22/mo or €10/day. I have Slingbox (hooked to DirecTV)for watching which works well. I also have Cyberghost for WatchESPN, however, the signal gets distorted and sometimes goes to audio only on my iPad. It does work well on my Mac though.

re: Paris or London which would you prefer to spend a couple of days in?
Posted by Bronceaux on 4/18/15 at 4:31 pm
Another great city to visit near Brussels and have some of the greatest beer is Mechelen. Drink some Carolus. LINK
As for London vs. Paris, London has much more to see and easy to visit and get around IMO, especially for Americans. I can't count how many times I've been to London as most of my business is conducted there.
You can't go wrong with either. My only advice is not to form your opinion on only one visit. You'd be surprised how you can easily change a negative opinion of a foreign city after a second visit!
Enjoy!!

re: Watch board. is Tissot a decent brand?
Posted by Bronceaux on 3/26/15 at 9:57 am
I have quite a few watches and find myself wearing my Tissot watches more than the others. I have the T-Race, the Touch and the Navigator. For the price, they are a VERY good choice.

Agree. The wife and I watch and laugh when they ask for city center, American-sized fridge and a bath tub on a $500/month budget. You better open the wallet for just one of those items. I speak from experience. Schmucks come over here with no money to spend on rent but want to travel through Europe on the weekends!

Surprised the hell out of me. Was about to watch on the slingbox and thought I'd check the locals. By chance it was on. I've never understood the selection process here.

I believe the Sports Cafe on Haymarket closed. They do have the Sports Bar and Grill with several locations around London. Been to the Marylebone location on Melcombe Place. Here's a link. I would call ahead to see if any of them are showing the game.

re: Best way to watch College Football in Europe????
Posted by Bronceaux on 8/27/13 at 5:23 am
I use an HD Slingbox and it works very well. Have a Directv DVR hooked up so I can record and watch whenever. Sports1 US HD took over where ESPN America dropped off. It is offered in Switzerland and the schedule says that it will be showing NFL and NCAA football. The other option is to buy a US VPN and try to stream ESPN Player on the iPad. I haven't needed to go this route yet, so I can't tell you how it works.

Take a train to Zurich. You can watch it at my place. Your wife can make breakfast.
