That cycle ended for me in LA. While the many things that you cite are nice, family, food, culture and soul more than compensates in my eyes (that life is short). The crime is only factor that could jostle me away again.
Really got tired of the “anywhere USA” feel lack of character and people’s bland commercial purpose in life. Soul dried up like a raisin. Hope your does not! Sounds like good move for you.

Congrats man! The fam & I moved out of BR 2 years ago. We relocated just outside of Raleigh, NC. Best decision we ever made!
