This could’ve been avoided if she just didn’t post it on the internet... pretty easy to avoid altogether

but in here mind, she was going to be cheered and celebrated as a great mom and the video would go viral

World Star isn’t exactly the best source of unbiased comments on swimming pedagogy

Did the kid learn to swim, or not? I can't watch the video right now.

Yes, he learned a very valuable life saving survival technique.

This is the leader so far in the comments section:

I wish they would teach black kids this , they die at a disproportionate rate to white kids in the water.

Can we all just agree that “death threats” these days are hallow and only spouted by attention-seeking pussies?

We first must agree that "Die in a Fire" is not really a death threat. It is more a suggestion.

My dad used to say that anyone giving advice about child rearing needs to show us their children. If they raised great kids then maybe folks should listen to them.

My wife and I whipped them when we judged they needed it, were demanding in what they needed to do, and did not give them video games or TVs; they could watch the family TV or none. All four are grown and are great adults. The pull their own weight, and all of them are happy. However, we received a fair amount of criticism for being harsh.

My dad used to hold me under the water until I was sure I was about to die. It turned me into an excellent underwater swimmer. I could stay under long after most people would get panicked and surface.
