Mother of 5 dies after days in solitary confinement without food

5 days without water will kill a person. She had a mental breakdown but was never evaluated by a mental health professional. More and more people have mental health issues and placed in jail. LEO are not mental health professionals but but mental health professionals are needed in the jail system.

It didn't say 5 days. It didn't say any amount of days, which actually proves your point even further.
Edit: Apparently her husband called 911 on 12/30 saying she needed mental help. Cops got there before an ambulance and they brought her to jail. She died 1/4.

We're in the United States...we don't fricking not feed prisoners for days at a time, nor do we not give medical attention to those who clearly need it.

For many people they see prisoners as less than human. They forget that those people are still human and do deserve to be treated as human beings regardless of what landed them in jail.
They is what supposed to separate us from 3rd world countries.
What happened to this lady is a crime.

Maybe if they were a bit lower people wouldn't be so willing to go to prison.
