Pretty much every store, restaurant, or fast food place in Memphis is hiring. Now hiring and help wanted signs everywhere.

Kevin's a long way from Memphis.

All those millions from the A&M buyout and not one dime to his baby mama and his 11 kids. Do the right thing.

I’m 100% serious when I say that she should be euthanized if she gets pregnant again

I'm not gonna make fun of someone that is trying to find work.

Bingo.
We should stop paying after two kids. I would support paying men and women to be sterilized. That would be a better use of tax dollars.

My office isn't far from the airport/Whitehaven. There are definitely Now Hiring signs at several places in the area

Well, this is certainly an overflowing shitbucket of bad life choices right here, but I still find it sad. If she was raised in the same kind of environment that she’s raising all these kids in, odds are she didn’t have too many examples of good decision-making to learn from in the first place. Without strong modeling it’s easy to fall into a cycle of poor choices that result in limited opportunities, which lead to more poor choices, which further limit opportunities, and so on. Plus when you’re a young, single mother of 11 children who’s been stuck in a menial fast food job for more than a decade, sex probably seems like one of the few sources of pleasure that isn’t beyond your immediate means and mental resources. (Everybody needs a diversion, but that’s a prime example of the limited options—>bad decisions cycle at work.)
In this case it sounds like there might be something to build on, though. It’s I incredibly irresponsible to have had that many children under those conditions, but she at least seems to give a frick about them. She’s also not trying to avoid working and is capable of long-term commitment to an employer. There’s external and internal motivation here, which means there’s potential for positive change. Maybe instead of spending piles of money supporting her ever-growing brood with no regard to their actual quality of life and with no end in sight, put it toward a prescription birth control implant, vocational training to give her marketable skills and opportunities for advancement, and reliable childcare. That way she might actually stand a chance of getting off the system one day, and of keeping 11 more people off the system in the future.
Even with the expense of paying for their food, housing, medical care, etc. in the short-term, that’s a much better long-term investment than paying that same amount in perpetuity minus whatever negligible amount she might have made working 20 hours a week in a minimum-wage job, X12, then increased exponentially over time.

I’m saying 7 different baby daddy at minimum. Pookie, Lil Ray Ray, June Bug, Qwantarious, DeeDee, Jamarius, and Sweet’n low ain’t paying no child support!

Meanwhile young twenty-something responsible “tax payers” wait until their house hold income is over $100k before even thinking about having a baby.

quote:don’t think that will work as intended... getting paid to be snipped will become politicized and it won’t be taken advantage of in the numbers needed to have any impact. You’d have to offer way more than $1k
ut there is a simple solution to this problem and a lot of poverty problems in this country. Offer a one time tax payer funded $1k check for any man or woman in this country willing to get snipped or their tubes tied.
The shittiest members of our society will eventually be financially desperate enough to take the bait. And we stop seeing these type of situations within a decade.
