Good Lord man. I can think of a million things I'd rather spend 25k on. I've been to Disney once and can die a happy man never seeing that place again.

Your crucifixion on here is forthcoming. (I am in total agreement with your statement)

Over $10k twice. 3 weeks in Australia and a month in Europe.

I’d say there is no such thing but there is that in between age where it isn’t as appealing. I enjoy Disney more as an adult than I ever did as a child. Maybe that’s because I get to plan the trip myself and I’m not one of the people eating sandwiches that were made at the hotel that morning for lunch and dinner any longer.

We paid for the meal plan when we went so we ate out every meal. I thought the food sucked. I also don't like standing in lines.

I know people that love it. I guess I'm just not a theme park guy.

Disney

We live 3 hours away from Disney (no kids) and go to Universal or Busche every time. We love roller coasters and just can't pull the trigger on Disney. My boss and wife (no kids) go to Disney all the time. I don't get it.

Prob about 10-15k for two for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Two weeks - one in Rio and one in Natal. Worth it.

There is a lot of mediocre to really bad food in Disney but there is also a lot of good restaurants as well. Just have to know where to go and where to avoid.

ETA; I’ll be in Disney in a couple of weeks and I’m confident I’ll enjoy most of my meals. The only one I’m not looking forward to is the Cinderella’s Royal Table, but that is for the kids to experience so I’m not too upset.

About to pull the trigger on a vacation package to Barcelona for my anniversary at almost $10,000.

I hope this is all inclusive with tour guides.

And can there ever be a travel post where Disney does NOT come up. Jesus people there are other places to vacation.

Oh and to answer the question. 6K. Spent 8 days in three Italy destinations. Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre. Plus rented a car and drove across the country.

The best two we had was at Chef Mickeys and the wilderness place. I can't remember the name but we took a boat there and it was a buffet.

Again, I don't fault people for liking Disney. I know a lot that do and it's fun for the kids. It's just not really my scene.

3500 for a family of 4 including airfare on a 8 day, 7 night all inclusive resort in Cancun. The same package would have cost us around 7k+ in Jamacia or on some of the other islands that we were looking at. We planned it right and got lucky. We ended up saving a ton of money

My SO wins a trip with his company every year. In Maui, we stayed at the Ritz for 7 days, everything was included. But, it counts as income, so you pay tax on the trip.
