Lacombe man wanted after allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says an arrest warrant was issued for 35-year-old Lee Cousin for a felony first-degree rape charge

Has to use his hands to even get a bulge in his microceps!

Cousin is described as a light-skinned black male, 5’7” tall and approximately 170 pounds. He has hazel eyes and black hair. Cousin also has tattoos on both arms. He is believed to be under the influence of narcotics and is likely still in the Lacombe area, the sheriff’s office said.

I was unaware of this exact stereotype.

I would expect that picture to be from Terrebonne parish

He looks like one of the "Cuzans" that live out that way.
The Cuzans are a large, extended Lacombe family. They all sorta look alike. Hazel eyes, light skin and freckles on the bridges of their noses. They always have some combination of those features.
He's a Cuzan for sure.

They all pronounce cousin as cuzan.

Forgive this question, but what is he?

Cousins: In a small town, racial lines cross and blur
That family has been there a while....
quote:
Deacon Steve Ferran of Sacred Heart Church of Lacombe, blesses graves with holy water during All Saints Day at the Lafontaine "Hilltop" Cemetery in Lacombe, Thursday, November 1, 2012. In Western Christian theology, the day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven. The cemetery was started in 1852 when Felix Cousin was the first to be buried there.
That family has been there a while....
quote:
Peter Cousin, a deputy assessor for St. Tammany Parish, sat in the dining room of the home he built himself, looking over the pictures, maps and other documents that trace his roots across racial lines.
His almond-colored skin suggests he is a white man. He considers himself black.
"I'm of French heritage and maybe 10 other parts," he said.
Across town, Marvin Cousin, a retired machinist, stood on the back porch of his family's camp on Bayou Lacombe, flicking cigarette ashes into the water.
His mahogany skin suggests he is a black man. He considers himself white.
"Am I a mixed breed? Yes ma'am, I am," he said. "My daddy was French and my mama was Spanish and Indian. The black comes in on my mama's side. I have cousins up the street there who are black. There's things I found out, I'm proud of it. This town here is the most amazing that you've ever seen."
quote:
Peter and Marvin Cousin, both 66 and distant cousins, are living examples of Lacombe's racial ambiguity.
While the two are not friends, they know each other and readily acknowledge that they are related, though neither knows exactly how. That their last name is Cousin and their roots are buried in Lacombe is enough. Only three Cousins settled in Lacombe during its infancy, and "we're all related somehow," Peter Cousin said.
quote:
"The French people were liberal people when it came to race relations," he said. "Color didn't mean too much to them. They were Romeos. They liked black women, they liked white women."
