Definitely New Yorkers. Their women with that loud nasally speech makes my skin crawl. And the men are loud and obnoxious tough guy acts. They’ve let t.v. convince them they’re actually badass’s, but they’re a bunch pussies.

The all-time most murderously irritating accent was from this blond hostess on TNN. It would've been sometime in the early 90s.
She also promoted the apples for students program with Harvest Foods grocery chain.
I don't know what the hell you call her accent but it was irritating as hell.
Someone told me it was a Houston accent whatever the frick that is.

People saying 'Midwest' clearly have no idea that they have just identified a part of the country that has at least 20 different accents. Some of those are pretty annoying, however.
