Wife got me a norelco 6400 wet/dry electric razor with beard trimmer attachment. Can't remember the exact price but it was around 50 bucks. Works great.

I bought a Wahl trimmer about five years ago when I decided to grow a beard.
Haven't had to buy a single razor or any shaving creme since.
My suggestion is to buy quality and take care of it; you'll be glad you did.
