I got them for $3 a lb in Covington Saturday. Still slightly on the small side, but wasn't bad at all.

We paid $3 lbs this past weekend in BR/Pville area and they were perfect mediums.
Only did 1 sack but it was a great boil for early January.

Maybe we'll get them for under $10 a LB in the NE

Fisherman's Cove in Kenner had them for 3.99/LB this weekend and if I remember correctly Bevi's in Metairie was also 3.99/LB for boiled.

Simple. By this Spring the excuse will be that the crawfish ran early and are now rare, therefore the price will be high.

you need to be able to bring minimum 200 sacks
200x32x.25 = 1,600
driver will run you $150 and you'll go through about 23 of them in the 5 month season
gonna take 3 trips a week to keep customers satisfied
speaking of customers being satisfied dead loss is on you the majority of the time so a few times a year you'll lose money bring them

All our bugs are going out of state which is going to keep the price high.
I blame the Houston Alumni Association.

Wholesale is $2. Lowest I've ever seen by far at this time of year. Prices are high because you pay them at the restaurant. That simple.

paid $100 a sack for some huge bugs the past 2 weeks. They were all huge as well.

A #42 sack is not huge crawfish.
Weight wise it's heavy though

Don't know how they got 42# of crawfish that size in that bag but they did and it was so full i don't know how they closed it. They were large bugs.
