Here you go, baws. I like to follow along on this site. Interestingly the LSU AgCenter is reporting that something like 240,000 acres are in crawfish production this year, an all time record. Commodity prices may be down, but crawfish in the Gulf south is not one of those. Time to start building a pond behind the house if you got room

Restaurant depot wanted me to bring them crawfish for cheaper that what I could sell them out of the field for

They sell them live crawfish on the card then cook them for free

Meh. It's something I only have a few times a year so I don't mind paying.
$15 burgers, $16 egg dishes and stuff like that bother me more

Yeah I mean it's not like Crawfish are a perishable, labor intensive crop that is only harvested in small areas of the country for small periods of the year. Lol. Even at $100/ sack I can feed 8 to 10 normal crawfish eaters. Robbery!
