More officer diversity won't cut racial disparity in US police shootings – study

Pretty soon they are going to realize that the people who get shot get that way because of pulling guns on the police and not because of the color of the police.

Because there are no dense, heavily populated areas in every major US city containing huge numbers of white young men in violent gangs like there are for blacks and Hispanics. It's just a numbers thing, not a race thing.

Black and Hispanic cops want to go home too.

I recall a big Harvard study a few years ago done by a black researcher that concluded blacks are no more likely to be killed by cops than whites. This was at the height of the BLM propaganda and predictably didn’t get much mention on the news.

Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University, Los Angeles, and a co-founder of the local chapter of the Black Lives Matter movement, said she agreed that increasing diversity in police departments would not necessarily lead to less shootings. “It’s still true what we’ve been saying, which is we’re less concerned about the racial make-up of police forces than we are kind of the institutional racism carried out by police, regardless of race,” Abdullah said.

I guess they didn't learn anything from Baltimore. The entire local government and upper level of law enforcement is inept.
