Amazes me that someone took the plot of Capricorn One and convinced people it’s real.
I get faking a moon landing once, but why fake it 6 times? Apollo 13 would have been the perfect excuse to stop the program. Instead, they “faked” it 4 more times.

Sure. But the technology to get Skylab to "low earth orbit" is exactly the same as as what it takes to get the Lem and service module to the moon.
The Lem had a service weight of approximately 33,000 lbs. The service module was roughly 63,000 lbs. That's just shy of 100,000 lbs.
Skylab was a massive 167,000 lbs. A full 2/3 heavier. If we could orbit that mass surely they could get 100k lbs to escape Earth's gravity. In fact, since space is a vacuum, escaping Earth's atmosphere is the hardest part. After that, Newton's first law takes over....

I was finally convinced that the earth is actually flat.
This is how they got me:
Fact: 71% of the earth surfaces is covered with water.
Fact: 99.99 % of that water is un-carbonated
