This, and don't worry about the potholes that could swallow a Tiger tank.

Will Tulane be forced to disassociate themselves with Paul Tulane?

quote:

During the American Civil War, Tulane was the largest donor in New Orleans to the Confederate States of America, but the historian John D. Winters in his Civil War in Louisiana (1963) does not give the amount Tulane contributed.[3]

This was a Davis last night.

If anyone wants an idea of what we're dealing with, just take a look at these Tulane/Loyola Hipster Antifa SJW punks.

It starts to get good around the 18:00 mark.

Except Cleveland & Chicago

Those towns are both much larger than New Orleans. Both are in the midwest, where race relations are actually worse than in south Louisiana (or at least they used to be).

The Obama era has done a number on race relations nationwide. Having a race wedge issue and media frenzy every summer before an election (Stanford, Ferguson, Baltimore, Duke Lacrosse, etc.) is not good for anyone but the politicians that use fear and hatred to get elected.

The cry from the peanut gallery to remove Andrew Jackson's statue is going to only get louder. Then the agitators will start screaming about street names. History is about the only thing New Orleans has going for it; it's not really that nice of a city, but her history is awesome.

the history doesnt disappear with a statue or street name.

yall are more worried about the liberty monument than figuring out how to incorporate artists, musicians, indians, cooks, etc... into the changing community effectively.

If we have to water down anything with a controversial past, the entire city of New Orleans will have to be torn down.

IDGAF about that monument...personally i think the others should stay.nola has consistently shot itself in the foot time and time again, the monument fiasco is just another example as to why people are fleeing in droves to the northshore and gulf coast.

The Jackson statue is going to kill someone on the way down. Book it.

Yea, Scruffy will believe it when he sees it. It'll vanish due to mismanaging and very little will be done.

Our beloved Fightin' Tigers are named after a Civil War group. PETA is making damn sure to erase the actual animal part of the mascot. So what will LSU's mascot be in 20 years?

NOLA is a tourist industry town. Port of NOLA will soon lose what little economic impact it has to Mobile and Savannah. ED projects are being lost left and right to other southern states due to ineptness at the state and local level.

I feel bad for people who have hatred towards people in another city. I'm so thankful I don't have the time or inclination for that nonsense.

Having grown up there I can honestly say NOLA turned into a dump a while back. The chocolate city just put the icing on the cake of black racism. Never will go back.
