I’d argue she was playing an awesome fricking game that was just dangerous.

And she’s got some sweet scars.

These aren't mutually exclusive. Take the weirdo 30 year old and throw him in a situation like this and it's likely his survival instincts will kick in. It's involuntary.

I ha spent a fair amount of time hiking and backpacking around different parts of the Northwest and have had the privilege of seeing multiple grizzlies. They are ninjas of the woods. They are incredibly quit despite their enormous size. Very capable of sneaking up on a fully aware human.

Doesn't surprise me, always maintain situational awareness. Even that may not be enough.
