Sneaking up on humans? Unless the bear is habituated to human activity, i.e. food, they will never "sneak up on a fully aware human" for the hell of it.


Don't think that is what he meant.

He just meant they're not loud moving through the forest and terrain so it could easily walk up on a human by accident without the human hearing it coming.
