This thread is so stereotypical, it's not even funny.
Not to say anyone deserves to get robbed, and that these cases aren't serious. But the notion of not caring about the crime around you because it's involves elements and people you don't interact with is lazy and a dangerous proposition.
We are all too interconnected and from my understanding, section 8's live side by side with millionaires in that city.
Perhaps NOLAers should start caring more about the 14 year old stick up kid who is running amuck in central city and nipping the problem at its genius instead of acting like their socioeconomic issues won't find its self in your own hood in a matter of time.
It happens all the time and we just act shock. How dumb can people be. Gotta start caring about the things that go on around us
