SONIC wanted out of that space, too hard to get in and out of.
I think the plan was to relocate and put SONIC in a better location.
Someone bought the land and will be putting something else there instead

The Sonic on Hwy 42 in Galvez has to be the top grossing Sonic in the nation. It is constantly busy. The perfect location for all the fatties.
