This is the sort of financial performance art that has me drafting a petition to repeal the 19th Amendment..
Overpriced Savannah Bananas tickets for the son (because nothing says “responsible adulting” like dropping hundreds so a kid can watch grown men in fruit costumes play baseball), followed by a full European pilgrimage so the daughter can lose her mind at a Taylor Swift concert, and now a twenty-thousand-dollar dorm-room. These are the trophies women proudly display—right alongside the Prada bags, the lip injections that could double as emergency flotation devices, and whatever other status symbols are currently trending on Instagram.
It’s less “reason and intellect” and more “competitive shopping with extra steps.”

my wife coordinated with my daugther's roommate's mom to do the same shite. 
true story; my mom pulled out the sheets we used to rake leaves on in the fall for my 1st year dorm covers at lsu.
we didnt spend $20k but probably close to $500 or more on amazon for all kinds of stupid shite that looks exactly like that video.
wtf, when did this become a thing? my parents let me take my sears boombox, a suitcase of clothes and a dirty stained sheet with me to LSU and said "good luck" as i was pulling out of the driveway.

I kept waiting for the big reveal, how the bed transformed into a kitchen, TV area or something fascinating… I saw a cheap cabinet with a few draws , a framed pic of a lsu football player and a table with a old school rotary phone.
