Bet he won't do that again.
Also, who turned the mom in? If it was the kid, he's dead.

Man some of you are going to have it rough when your kids become teenagers.

Like what, spanking?
Oh that's right, Mom would get arrested for assault in that instance.

I did that at 15. My dad had my bags packed waiting outside the door. He let me back in eventually . But I was never 15 minutes late again for anything

Most of the OTs children are going to be massive pussies who won't know wtf to do the second mommy or daddy aren't around.
The previous generations had such good parents
the "greatest generation" (who were a fricking joke) begat the "sorriest generation".. lest we forget. talk about a shitty group of parents. Given the average age here on TD.. it's easy to see why they are so revered though

Where was the father?

Locked out of the house all night long? My 13 yr old self would deem that a blessing from the gods. Challenge accepted

13 isn't adult in GA, she is responsible for sheltering the child. He breaks curfew she lets him in and punishes him. In the eyes of the state locking a 13 year old minor outside of shelter overnight is like leaving your infant in the car while you go into the store. Justice is blind. She wrong.

not following the terms of the contract she has with the state per marriage license!
the child is the states property [ nobody believes me ]
so when someone over reaches their authority in the eyes of the state, they'll get arrested and reigned in.
she signed up for it....[ and nobody thinks of it ]

Funny, no mention of dad in the article. That's probably why he doesn't respect his mothers or her rules

So if she provided a tent, you'd worry less?
If he wanted to be outside would it be negligence to allow him out there?
If it was permanent - sure, issue. For a couple hours? Get over it.

Of course its a black women. State just loves telling black people what they can and can't do. Racist govt in GA.

Yeah gonna side with the law on this one. A 13-year-old boy should not be locked out of his house overnight in any environment.
Yeah! We MUST protect our babies. They're our future! Lord knows nobody has ever survived an entire night outside anywhere.

Didn't it say that the woman was tired of him coming home late past curfew. Sounds like she tried things before but it still kept happening. At what point do you resort to doing something that might actually work? Sleeping outside on a hard arse concrete or ground would make one appreciate the bed more.
If she whopped the kid like AP, she would be arrested. If she left the kid home alone, like that one woman, she would be arrested. I fricking hate how America is becoming....the land of political correctness.
