Anything that fought against the fabric of his union and tries to bring it down, is a worthless sack of shite to me.
They're in the same book as Al Qaeda or ISIS to me.
Terrorists. They have no place being memorialized in any place I spend my tax dollars. And quite frankly, anyone that supports their public memorialization, has a skewed view of patriotism IMO.
Place them in a museum? Hell yes.

In the 70s there were complaints and an additional plaque added, and in '93 it was voted to be a nuisance by city council.
this statue has been an issue for decades.
