A campus email sent Tuesday instructs recipients to call university police as soon as possible and notes that while such speech isn't always illegal, students can nonetheless be punished by the Office of Student Conduct.
The university's student conduct code prohibits harassment, which it defines as "unwelcome verbal or physical conduct" against "actual or perceived membership in a protected class ... that creates a hostile environment." The conduct code also forbids bullying, retaliation and threatening or intimidating behaviors.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri responded with a statement calling for the university to not compromise the right to free expression in its efforts to fight racism. Its statement says, "Mistakenly addressing symptoms — instead of causes — and doing it in a way that runs counter to the First Amendment is not the wise or appropriate response."

Concerned Student 1950, an activist group that formed to push for increased awareness and action around racial issues on campus, did not want reporters near the encampment.
Protesters blocked Mr. Tai’s view and argued with him, eventually pushing him away. At one point, they chanted, “Hey hey, ho ho, reporters have got to go.”

I'm thinking about suing my job for stress since they gave me access to the computer that led to my access TD which led to my reading and becoming offended about something that doesn't affect me in any way shape or form and is complete BS. I didnt say they are. But exceptions to the norm beg us to investigate why they are exceptions.
Disparities arent soley due to racism TODAY, but they are historically based in racism. That's an undeniable fact. If its roots were in racism, and gaps still exist, then we can suggest that there are lingering effects IN ADDITION to other factors. I dont see how that is hard to admit.
