A hurricane in 1915? Everyone knows they're recent modern occurrence due to climate change and global warming.

So this watchman not only had to ride out the hurricane on this ferry but it broke loose and blew down river. It then sank and he had to swim to shore in the dark in hurricane force winds. That must have been one crappy night for this fellow!
