Been to Clarksvegas many times.The Juke Joint Festival is one weekend/year and yes it is well attended. But there isn't large numbers of folks all summer touring the delta.

How is Ground Zero doing up in Clarksdale?

Been a long time since I was up there. I think one of the key owners of the club passed away some years ago.

Tunica has been dying for a while. Once boasting the third highest gaming revenue in the country. The 2011 Mississippi River flood was a killer and then Arkansas legalized gaming to finish them off. It’s such a run down dump that people are bypassing Tunica and going to the Gulf Coast instead.

Northerners have no idea. I have friends from Washington that can't wait until they retire so they can stay on the beaches in Texas

It’s probably how the Germans look at us when going on their river cruises.

If you are from Europe or another part of the country, why not enjoy a few stops along the river. Old people with money need to do something with it.
