Hope your Christmas was merry and that you kept the memories of your parents deep in your heart.
Mine have been gone for many years. I just try to make the day special for my kids when they come visit. Lots of food. Drinks. Movies. Corny pictures. Just making it a place of joy and peace where they feel like they can come back and just chill. You never know how much time you'll have left, so make each day special is my goal.

Yep. Both of my folks have been gone for many years now- but the holidays always bring back great memories of them.
That's how we choose to deal with them not being around, this time of year. Just try and focus on the good times.....
