You don’t know how close you might be with that theory.

I heard this morning that authorities were able to verify she crossed the bridge 4 times before the incident.

There would be blood evidence if she were struck outside her car.

Not to mention if a freshman was broken down on a bridge and got out of the car she would have taken her phone to call someone. The fact that she left the phone in the car and didn't contact her parents makes me believe she jumped. Very sad deal.

So I guess we never found out if any cameras on the bridge or nearby caught anything? I know that was discussed earlier on.
the only cameras on the bridge are the DOTD cameras. They do not record and they are only live feed.
The brother posted on his insta story that license plate readers caught her plate headed east & west towards the bridge multiple times. In total she crossed the bridge 3 times before her car stopped. that's all the info i've seen regarding cameras

guess what your cell phone is

hint: a live tracker

and police (esp. police doing a missing person's case) will easily get access to the records of where it's been

Do you think she was going back and forth contemplating if she should stop and jump?

she had that life alert or whatever it's called app on her phone so her family released all that information

Either that or there was too much traffic and she was waiting for a lull.

I had heard that but didn't know if it was confirmed or anything. So does that essentially keep a line on you tracking where you've been? As in it's more information than just simple location sharing on an iphone where you only see present location?

I can't imagine the pain she was going through driving back and forth over the bridge just deciding when to jump. God bless her soul and her family. There are always other options. All is never lost.

I didn't want to joke about that since it was about someone who died but since you broke the ice I'll go ahead and do it.

This girl was 5'5" barely 112lbs. If it is her, the body is likely 50% wider than it was when she was alive

I propose a "Kori's Law" to the state legislature. Force the LADOTD to replace all DOTD cameras with 4k cameras that record and store a week's worth of data and maintain those cameras and storage data constantly. Not only would have saved this poor girl's family so much emotional stress by knowing from the start what happened to her instead of sitting and wondering what happened but it would also assist law enforcement with missing persons cases. I think we can all agree that it's pretty fricked up that our taxes pay for all those cameras but not a single one of them has the ability to record and store the data for a period of time.

That's gonna be super difficult to prove. I would be seriously impressed with forensic science if they can prove impact damage from vehicle strike vs impact with water

If only we had the technology to install cameras that could somehow record and send footage to a centralized location for review in situations like this....for fricks sake, for a couple hundred dollars I can watch a deer take a shite in the middle of the woods in real time and recorded.
