I missed a Fed Ex delivery and I really really need it tonight. It is my new phone and I need to get it to Verizon tonight to get everything set up. The problem is I am working late tomorrow and Friday so I really don't want to have to wait until Saturday to get my new phone going.

Anyway, anyone have experience missing deliveries with Fed Ex? I know they will tell you when you can pick it up and what location but my main question is will I be able to pick it up tonight or do you have to wait until the next day? Really hoping I can get it this evening and have time to run to Verizon.

Get on the phone with them and track it. Wasting good time here. I pick them up late all the time.

That is what I was afraid of. They dropped off a case of wine the other day with no signature even though it is required by law and today they refuse to leave the phones at my front door. Granted, I don't want anyone to steal them but the inconsistencies make it hard to plan.

eh, good luck

my success rate on even getting it on the second try is about 50%. A lot of times it'll be on the truck tomorrow even after you tell them to hold it for pick up, or vice versa if you try and reschedule delivery.
