Mine is chewing loudly. Misophonia isn't that you don't like the sound. Its that you actually have physical effects from those sounds. For me ill let extremely angry. I try to control it more with my kids, when it first developed I got so angry with everyone because of it, I thought I was going crazy until I learned it was a true phobia. Its been like two years now and I can try to control my anger, but I did go off on some poor kid in my algebra class for purposely chewing loudly.

Agreed. I get nothing out of their kid. They don’t carry my name. I don’t get to enjoy the good times, and I didn’t get to enjoy the sex, but I do have to be subjected to their chaos. That’s what I get out of it.

Vocal Fry, like Nick Cavuto has. It seems as though more & more females in broadcasting are doing it to sound sexy (or whatever?) because it does NOT sound natural. Sounds more intentional/forced. Lazy, if anything, like they're on heavy sedatives and can't get it out. Worse than chalk on a blackboard, IMO. Clear your damn throats already!!

I HATE HATE HATE when people who are eating with a fork/spoon bite down on the fork with their teeth before pulling the food off, thus making an obnoxious scraping sound!
I've had to get up from the table before and walk away because I couldn't handle it.

I just read every response and said "yep" realizing how bad this shite has become for me. I actually get annoyed hearing a beer commercial when they pour it into a glass and think "who the frick wants to hear someone taking a piss" 
the sound just gets to me.
The first and most annoying is of course, mouth noises. Lips smacking, crunchy noises, gum popping, etc. I can near kill someone who is too much of a slob to stop that shite.
Baby crying is probably second to chewing. I want to start an airline with a McDonald's type playroom in the back of the plane with a soundproof glass and have an attendant stationed.
