This isn’t just “hyped by Hollywood”. It’s been around a while.

Whoever makes Ozympic is raking it in like Pfizer wanted to with the Covid shot. A LOT of women are on it for weight loss.

Honestly, I’m not saying tell someone to go kill themselves because they’re fat. But they need to be made aware that the shitty choices they make with their nutrition are no better than the shitty choices a heroin addict makes when shooting up. It’s all an addiction and it all has enormous health consequences. Our culture does need to be shamed. It is astounding how soft we are to believe that some people don’t need to be told point blank that their 45 inch waists aren’t sexy, they’re a death wish.

Because societal shaming has worked sooooo well over the last 40 years.

I can't wrap my head around how someone making a choice that might help them be more healthy makes you want to shite all over them because they didn't suffer or do it the same way you did.

How about this - let's talk about how much trash is in your vehicle right now. Are there any old cups in there? Even one? How about some old receipts? You know, all you have to do is take them out when you get out of your vehicle. The trash can is right there in your garage...

Or how about this. How about the dishes in your sink right now. You know - that coffee cup that you just put in the sink could have gone directly in to the dishwasher....

My point is that we're all here trying to get through life. Be supportive of your fellow man. No one gives a shite how you got where you are. You sound like an old southern preacher talking about fire and brimstone. Encourage people for making an effort to better themselves. Maybe if we did that instead of shaming there might be a different outcome....or maybe not.

Maybe that dollar general receipt will still be there in the floor board when you trade in your minivan...

False. As LSUNurse said, upper thigh. Anyone can inject anything anywhere, but the proper location is unequivocally upper thigh.

It did work very well, until the 90s or so.

I just think people went from smoking to eating more fast food and drinking fancy coffee. That's why people are all fat now.

Edit: I've talked to 20-somethings telling me they're trying to get on Ozempic. It's a damn shame. This country is pretty fricked. Try eating a salad from time to time. Maybe have an apple instead of fistfulls of "healthy dark chocolate."

Ok, because societal shaming has worked sooooo well over the last 30 years.

What do you think has fundamentally changed in that time?
