re: MinuteQuest is fun and addictive as hell.

use the tunnel. it's 3 times as fast plus the exp jumps up 3 per screen instead of 1. if you haven't got it yet you might have to beat the first boss. it was a Licky for me.

spend some exp on raising your luck. it really helps with getting more money and treasure drops. also, the leek will boost your recovery rate up when combined with some armor and pets.


there are so many combinations i haven't even begun to check out. i'm just letting it use the Deathmatch ability to autorun and get gold and EXP. this one boss is giving me fits.

Do the abilities only come from certain pets, armor, and weapons? Like the leek skill you speak of

I'm trying decide what weapon to buy. There seem to be some expensive ones that have less power than my current one like a shrunken head.

as far as i can figure, different combos of weapon/armor/pets give different bonuses..

for example, if i'm holding a leek and i have rags on, no skill.
if I hold a leek with a licky as my pet and fishy armor, i get Recovery5 and recovery10

i'm tempted to make a spreadsheet of all the interactions.

I went with the halberd first. good attack to where you can start to kill most early monsters in 1-2 hits and start to grind for gold and exp.

I haven't even seen that one yet. Different weapons might have different combo abilities or elements making them more valuable strategy wise. if you click on a creature from afar it will give you its stats, including weaknesses. exploit that.

there's a chart in the help menu.

also, different weapons have different attack types like stab/jab/bash/fury/bomb etc.

i just beat the second boss. ill probably be where you are now in like t weeks, lol
