What’s your argument for abortion when they could afford to raise the kid?

Exactly. And then turns around and spews all kind of justification bullshite about it being smart. No Minka, the smart thing would have been birth control so you didn't get pregnant in the first place.

This has been brought into tighter focus since DNA testing has exonerated people who have been put to death.

Agreed and this is why I'm now anti death penalty. In theory, I'd love to just shoot someone guilty of murder or rape, but I don't trust the criminal justice system to get it correct.

You find people that believe in personal responsibility difficult to understand? You think there would be welfare queens if people weren't incentivized to have a bunch of kids out of wedlock

Exactly how death benefit the child?

The only benefit for her and the father was by getting out of the responsibilities of of their choices. Selfishness in other words.

Benefit to society? So fricking noble.

It makes more sense when you realize most who hold these views see themselves as rugged individualists who pulled themselves up solely by their own bootstraps with no help from collective society as a whole.

Personal responsibility is the penultimate principle for these people, as they mistakenly think they were able to do it alone and therefore anyone should be able to.

So incentivizing the destruction of the nuclear family is answer to this. Make bad decision and rely on the government for generations sounds like a better idea.

False choice. I’m down for sterilization in certain circumstances.

I've known many women who have had abortions over the years, many of them in secret. None of them are proud of it. There's bound to be a special place in hell for those that are proud, such as the example above.
