I wonder if rape is as common as people think it is. Granted, broken ribs and orbital bones are no picnic either.
Hard to get an answer b/c people who have been in are not gonna advertise it. I am always puzzled by guys who dreaded solitary and wanted general population. I'd gladly do solitary. I have the mind for it.

i'd do a year in club fed for $500k if it didn't affect my licensure/future employment. EASILY.
i'd basically be taking a shitty job for a year and getting like a $750k/year salary
This. I might do it for 250k and I already make 6 figures in salary.
That is maybe $375k that I will walk out with, cash money for doing absolutely nothing except eating and sleeping and being bored for a year. White collar prison days consist literally of sitting around watching TV, eating 3 times a day, lots of naps and lots of sleeping and basically just being bored.
Probably exercise a lot to relieve boredom, walk out a year later with several hundred thousand in cash.

Is it a possibility I will be gang raped while inside? If so, I'm not even talking about it unless eight figures is on the table. If not, half a million would be tempting. A million, I am in for sure.
This. I'm out if butt sex is involved.

Am I assured that I will be immune to any and all crimes I commit while in prison??

Real Prison - $1 Million.
If you are only doing a year, you are probably not in state prison

A year means a felony record. Have fun never being able to vote, own a gun, pass a background check, or find a non-manual labor job. The amount would have to set me up for life. Even then, idk if its worth never being able to teach my future son how to hunt or shoot a gun.
I say $2 million minimum. Put $1.5 of that into safe mutual funds to live off the earnings and use the other $500k to buy a house.

I’m not even getting paid 6 figures for my current prison.....

White collar prison only. Cell to myself and a Tv in my cell. Also, unlimited access to books and exercise.
1 million dollars directly deposited into my bank acount on day 365. Not a penny less.

OP already said no record when you get out.
I have a buddy that had to do nearly a year for fraud relating to the BP oil spill (he claimed his business made about 5x what it made or something like that). Got paid, but was then required to produce tax returns and got busted.
Anyway, he told me about it. All they did was sit around watch TV, play board games, read books, eat and sleep and exercise some. Said he was bored but made some friends, passed the time and that was that.
That was several years ago. After he got done with his 9 months probation whatever it was, he went about his business, got married, had a kid and is doing well.
Add on an extra several hundred thousand in cash and no record? Yup, count me in.

This thread seems to pop up every few months. Why are yall so obsessed with prison?
Posted on 4/3/18 at 5:02 pm to ldts
Part of my work includes seeing some patients in prisons. You could not pay me enough to live in there even one night. It's no vacation.
Posted on 4/3/18 at 5:09 pm to Morty
$100,000 only to make up for lost wages
Posted on 4/3/18 at 5:13 pm to Morty
When you say "real prison", does that include a parish prison? If so, could I pick what parish jail I would want to go to?
Posted on 4/3/18 at 5:28 pm to Morty
Pretty sure you don't have to pay to go to prison.

I thought you meant for commissary. I was gonna ask how much honey buns are going for these days.
