This reminds me of the most relaxing thing.. I don't know if it's mindless, but I like going to the pier a few miles from my house and just cast and reel. I don't care about catching anything.. If I do, great.. but just picking a spot in the water and targeting it, and seeing if I can hit it or get close to it.. I can do that all day long.
