re: Millennials are the biggest — but poorest — generation

And are you really shocked that in today’s day and age where boomers and Gen X’ers are working longer and longer than ever, at higher salaries than ever, and with having substantially longer time and opportunity for previously invested wealth to grow in a booming stock market, that millennials possess a smaller percentage of wealth
It's stupid to group Gen X with Boomers. The oldest Gen Xers are still more than a decade from retirement. Meanwhile, we've had nothing Boomer presidents since 1992 and they've exploded the national debt from $4 trillion to $22 trillion...and counting. And there's a good chance we'll have yet another f***ing Boomer president in 2020.
Boomers aren't necessarily bad people on an individual level, but as a group they are like a swarm of locusts. They were born into prosperity (post WWII economic boom) and are leaving their descendants with crumbling infrastructure and crushing debt. That is the legacy of the Baby Boom generation.

You're a very, very sad and angry little man, aren't you? Go take a nap, geezer. You'll be in the ground before too long and civilization can progress

Boomers don't understand science...that's painfully obvious

Finally some intelligence is found here.

Parents in their late sixties and early 70s have significant wealth. They are either starting to gift to their millennial children or have set up their estate plans to pass this wealth to the kids.
Also to add, they are giving all their wealth/assets to their children because in the event they get sick, all of their hard work and money is gonna go to medical bills & assisted living.
Whereas if you “don’t have any assets” the govt will pay for it all.
Catch my drift here.

Awww, did I throw sand in your pussy?
Progress? You worthless millennial cocksuckers will let civilization collapse. You're too fricking stupid to realize you have been indoctrinated.
You millennials are the greatest failure of the Boomers. How did we produce such a crowd of absolute shite stains.

Snot nose, we fricked every hole your mothers and grandmothers had. Sometimes two at a time.
That is quite the visual, isn't it? Your dear sweet mom with her nose full of coke getting spit roasted on Spring Break in Florida.

Well, our generation was educated, not indoctrinated.

Well this thread escalated quickly.
In fairness to millennials, many of them came of age during the worst recession since the Great Depression. That’s a damn tough draw.
They have low rates of home ownership and lots of student loan debt, but at least some of that is a structural/timing issue. The takeaway here probably shouldn’t be that millennials are lazy and irresponsible.

Times have changed. In 1960 you could move out at 18 with a HS diploma and get a job at a factory making middle class wages.
Today you have to go to college or some type of vocational school for a certification to even have a shot at a decent job, take out 10s of thousands in debt to accomplish this, then after college spend 2-3 years looking for the job you want while trying to make ends meet in the meantime. Due to this, most younger people don’t get to the middle class wages until late 20s while boomers got to it from ages 18-21.

Yes, we understand science.
All of our hard partying apparently damaged our genes. The damage to the gene pool is now very evident.
The damaged genetics produced a generation of spoiled, entitled, lazy, low IQ, worthless shite stains known as Millennials.
The Greatest Generation did no less than save the world.
The Boomers built the nation.
The Millennial shite Stains have done nothing but whine because their sorry asses are actually expected to carry their own weight.

And what is ironic is that the inheritance that these mills were going to get when their boomer parents passed, was lost when the return rates on safe IRAs laden with CD's and money markets accounts dropped to <2% during the last presidential administration and boomers had to cash them out to live. As a mid' Xer with nearly pre-boomer parents, thanks mills, good job.

Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee born June 8, 1955 (BOOMER) invented the World Wide Web. (Does www. ring a bell?)
Thanks for the assist in proving my point about Millennials.
