Agreed, however, I see a lot more animosity from the younger generation towards the older generation concerning the topic of discussion at present.

I assure you he would be largely impressed about my financial & overall life outlook for someone my age.

Maybe DV is just trying to say that up until the millennial generation that kids usually looked to their parents for answers to questions and situations that might arise when that kid was unsure about something.

Nowadays- straight to their electronics to get answers to questions from their peers who have yet to walk down that road.

From what you say about yourself, you would be the exception. Good for you.

There are a lot of "old soul" young people out there that I most definitely enjoy being around. There are a lot of old "young souls" out there also. Actually, I prefer the former.

This. For the most part IMHO, every generation is better then the one before it. Sure people love to talk about the "Greatest Generation", but tell a black guy who was forced to sit in the back of the bus how great they were

Actually, this country will drastically improve once all the old farts start losing positions of influence. They are keeping this country down by trying desperately to hold on to their old-fashioned thinking and traditions.

So the country will become great when all the people you expect to fund all to new social programs and ideas die off (with their money)?

Makes sense.

Boomers aren't paying for shite; they're passing the buck onto their grand- and great grandchildren because boomers, as a whole, are scum.

Gen-Xers - we're the sandwich generation - not only are we fat - we're caring for both our parents and our children.

Maybe that's why there are so many millennials living in their parents' basement eating ramen noodles and texting on their iphones. I know several people in their late 20s that cannot even wash their own clothes much less live on their own and support themselves.

I can't wait until your generation dies out so we can actually move forward instead of clinging to some nostalgic fantasy you've all built up in your head. None of these arguments say shite outside out the fact that you think every millenial is is a work-hating liberal, which is just you being upset that you're becoming obsolete. You and your dumbass parents got the country into the bullshite we're in, not us. You suck, and you know it.

Then they're losers? There have been losers in every generation forever. Most of the people on this site fit that description. Thousands upon thousands of posts to find some sense of importance in their sad lives? I know they're not working too hard while racking that up.

You mean they stay at home because they are leeches that think the world owes them everything.

There seems to be a much larger number of them in the milliennial generation. Maybe that's because the generation is relatively young, maybe the country is just doomed to be run by people who feel someone else (who no longer exists) is responsible for everything they need and want.

This. The boomers were gifted the most economically prosperous time period in our nation's history post-WW2 and their greed destroyed it.

The generation of free love and freedom has driven us toward an even more overbearing and oppressive government.

The boomers managed to turn gold into dirt and are now blaming their offspring for their own failings.

For shame.

Your post epitomizes every excuse millennials need. They should have it printed on a wrist band for easy ref

Especially the isn't intelligent because can't operate a laptop, the gold standard of "intelligence" to a kid. Mad skills on a play station are the next proving ground.

Your generation raised these kids and molded them in to the people they are today.

In the end, the millenials that will run this country are the ones that were raised correctly and have the drive to get out and make something out of their lives. Stop being a melodramatic vagina.

Every generation at some point takes care of their parents and children. The problem is that Gen-Xers are taking care of their adult children - adult children with "college degrees" with no ambition to do anything because college professors, media, etc have preconditioned them to believe the "rich" have a responsibility to take care of them.

How many millionaires do you personally know from the millenial generation?

Compare that number to how many millenials you know still living off their parents.
