How much longer you got left, baw?

I have nothing to add and did not make it beyond the first page.
I just wanted to state that the amount acronyms (that are unknown to me) I encountered in the first 20 comments made me think; "frick this thread."

MRD is May 2021. I threw my hat in the ring for one last look at BG this year. Board meets in October. Senate nominations will be announced around April-May of 2020. That is the decision point.

Line USN SEAL teams are roughly equivalent to Line US Army Special Forces units.
USN's NSWDG/DEVGRU ("Seal Team 6") is equivalent to USA's 1st SFOD-D/CAG ("Delta Force"). These are the uniformed, Tier 1 special operations forces.
Although dated, I would recommend you read the book, Blackhawk Down which will give you a certain perspective on the relationship between 75th guys and Delta guys. That will be similar to the relationship between line SEAL teams and DEVGRU (USN doesn't have a true equivalent to the 75th - if anything, they use various USMC units for that role).
Delta's favorite joke (and I'm sure some of the SF direct action guys have picked this up) is to tell folks they rescue they are SEAL Team 6 (or just, SEALs, generally). Trust me: it's hilarious. SEALs would never admit to being anything other than SEALs.

Also, based on the reputation of the SEALs as of late, I would hesitate to place them alongside the maturity of the SF Groups.

The Air Force's 24th Special Tactics Squadron is also considered Tier 1. They recruit the top Air Force special operators from all other squadrons.

He's also a meme:

I've worked with 2 former SF guys who were about as unimpressive looking as they come. Two of the nicest, humble dudes you could come across. Neither of them would ever cuss either.

He should go to Reggie's just for fun.

Went to church with three CAG guys while I was stationed at Fort Bragg. Would have never known what they did for a living just looking at them. They just disappeared for weeks at a time. But all the "white SOF" types (e.g. Green Berets) always gathered around them when they got back to get some "hem of the garment" type of stories. Was hilarious seeing it unfold.

What's some of the rarer badges/insignias you would see on a Class A these days?

He’s breaking the only rule of being an operator.

I couldn't tell you these days.

And the 75th has some kind of recon company that's an SMU as well.
