Right but most civilians don't know the difference in the tab and the scroll.

A lot of active duty members and vets don't either.

Not initially, but you'll get RFS'd if you don't eventually get your tab. Or never get promoted past Spc and never hold any sort of leadership billet.

Right, but you could still say you were in the battalion. That's gotta be worth a few drinks at an airport bar

Correct. But you get a tab that says Ranger and the average person is a dumbass

I guess.
You don't even have to go infantry either since there are all kinds of support MOSs in the 75th. RASP is the same regardless.

Fair or not, the average civilian at a bar associated Rangers more with the tab than with the actual 75th scroll

I've always wondered why so many cadences are about "Airborne Rangers" and no one else really gets any love.

I mean, it's not a knock on Ranger School. It's 60+ days of suck with hardly enough to eat and definitely not enough sleep. But the hard work is over once you get tabbed.
And it can't be that bad since a 37 year old female reservist with kids made it.

seent that a lot when womenz first started coming through pilot training, and especially if they got fast movers, initial cadre was going to pass, no matter how many instructors they had to go through until they could coerce some sap into signing them off

People keep saying this but its simply not all the way true.

Seals particularly practice for water based things, much more so then Delta would. Now I'm not sure what exactly Delta does more of then Seals, but Seals absolutely do more water based training.

I never said they were the same thing. I said they were equivalent in value/worth. They have similar missions.
