Many people think the chick in the blue shirt at the front is the teacher. Actually it's just another student. The teacher was on the side of the room with her back turned.

Saw better fights in the quad on a Tuesday

She also hit her with the leg of the chair on her shoulder. Would you or your boss be OK at the office with aNother coworker getting up and doing the same thing to a coworker? The person would likely be arrested

Students aren't coworkers.

Maybe so. But she was still only a few feet from the incident. And if a student had the gall to do that in the classroom, she pretty much knew that she would get away with it at least in the short term. Student is a POS, as is the teacher.

She barely touched her withe the leg of the show. Not condoning what the kid did but people are acting like this should be a major news story. People are actually upset that the national media isn't covering it. It's comical.

It’s not like they had a royal rumble. I’m not condoning the behavior but it’s getting blown out of proportion.
And btw I’m oilfield trash. We throw pipe wrenches at each other. Chairs would be a step in the wrong direction.

It's obvious shitty behavior and the girl is getting ganged up on besides being hit with the chair and the slap. The intimidating behavior and isolation is more damaging. I'd be beside myself with rage if that was my daughter.

Schools turn a blind eye to phone usage school today. Result? Not what would have happened in 1984 if the Yocum twins were around to exact justice off camera.

If it was your daughter, she probably learned the best lesson she could have that day. Don't take shite from anyone.

Just handle your business kid.

The aggressor looks like she would be able to anunceate.

I have 3 daughters and none went through any sort of bullying and I've taught them to never act like such assholes and always look out for the little guy.
One of my daughters who is out of high school now was cold-cocked once when she walked out of school (caught on phone cam and put right up on YouTube), yeah my daughter fought back and then both were sent to off-site detention for a week. Can't recall what petty disagreement had happened but the other girl was from way over on the other side of the tracks, so to speak.
Lesson learned from that was fighting is trashy af behavior, especially in young ladies. Never had another incident like that with any of them. Little girls can be vicious and it's not so much physical it's the words said.
