dude, when Macaulay Culkin visited him in prison to research his role in the film Party Monster..Michael admitted to him about fantasizing about him in Home Alone.

How fricking creepy is that

Eta

Given Michael was in his mid 20s when that came out.

Is this the new jail in New York? Home incarceration and drugs for murderers?

Yeah, murderers get house arrest, but if you open your business, or defy the serial killer, Reichsführer Andrew Cuomo or Obergruppenführer Bill de Blasio, you go to jail. This is the world we live in now.

Admittedly, James St. James is probably not a fan of SEC football but he wrote the funniest book about a bathtub dismemberment that you are likely to read.

The murder was back in the Disco days. Alig served his time and got out. The man he killed, Angel Melendez, was a Colombian drug dealer and fellow weirdo that no one cared about.

The late 80s/early 90s weren't "the disco days". Disco was dead at least a decade before this happened.

They put him in a bathtub, covered him in ice, kept the drug fueled rage going for another day or two, an then chopped him up, and dumped him in the river

More like "New Wave disco"..the infancy of rave culture in a way.

More people would recognize this look from popular artists at that time. Id say like 1985-1995 was "their decade era" of popularity. Especially in the late 80s

If you're still messing with heroin in your 50's, you know how that story is gonna end...

The Limelight nightclub opened in 1983. In NYC, disco was still the thing there.

In the sane world, disco died with Disco Demolition night, July 12, 1979, at a Comiskey Park baseball game.

Heroin use often ends the same way regardless of age.

Indeed. My point was: if you're that age, you know better. There's no doubt what will happen. It's not about the high- you're chasing death.
