Detroit turned majority black in the mid 70's. It took 25 years of race-centric governing before the economy and infrastructure collapsed and the blacks began to move out too. Baton Rouge has about 15-20 years left before it can't provide basic services.

Bruh, those folks rep the black Democrat machine in BR. Clowns like Dytarsha Clark-Amar, her mama Janice, Trudy “cop and momma killer” White, C Denise Marcell and her bloody shirt, Chaunna Banks, Mayor frick the cops Broome.

Go look at your tax bill and look at what you pay to the Council on Aging. I used to be like you, but the corpution that Nak exposed at the Council on Aging and the black Democrat response that they dindu nuffin and whitey just mad cuz they don’t want black people to have all that money, was the last straw for me. These were elected officials saying this crap. The same ones called for protests after the cops shot an armed fellon with a gun. The protests that resulted in the ambush and death of 3 officers. One is still learning how to walk and talk. The protest that cost the city bigly in settlements and wasted resources.

I hate it but Baton Rouge is fricked.

Because white republicans would rather golf or brunch than vote.

Then cry on a message board that everything is fricked and nothing can save it.

Y'all are really becoming pathetic.

White republicans don’t live in these people’s district and can’t vote for them:
Chaunna Banks
Trudy White
Janice Clark
Lamont Cole (majority black district)
Erica Green
Tara Wicker (broke ranks on one vote)
Denise Marcell
Donna Collins Lewis
Pat White
Ted James

One thing we can do. Bust up the city parish model and make St George real.

I notice you left off Broome.

What's the excuse for not voting in that election?

No way. City-Parish model with St. George is the only hope to save EBR.

I'd like to reevaluate these special taxing agencies like BREC, Library Board and the COA to better regulate how much they spend and what they spend it on.

I'm not opposed to good parks, recreation, libraries and the elderly; however, I don't know if the prople on the board know when enough is enough and then you have the corruption to consider(COA).

It’s like Baton Rouge was HIV positive for a few years which they tried to treat.

Now they have full blown AIDS. There’s no cure for that

If 2% more registered Republicans in EBR go to the polls the first weekend in Dec 2016 and vote for Bodi White, Broome is sitting at home

Just imagine how much of nicer city Baton Rouge would be with Bodi in charge. The stunts these democrats are pulling "in the name of racism" is actually turning a normal non-racist person into a full blown racist.

I reevaluate them every time their respective taxes come up for renewal. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the people who will end up voting don't pay attention to local politics at all before they walk into the voting booth armed with no more than the idea that they think libraries and parks are good things.

As for the CoA, I'm worried that even those morons will eventually figure out how to stay out of the news and that one will get renewed too. I see they've started investing their new found wealth into new senior centers in the more conservative parts of the parish - trying to get that old white people vote locked in.

Oh dont worry Ms Chunky...we gonna save it. You can have the shite hole...we're getting St George. The council meeting last night guaranteed it. Even if it cost more to live in St George, I'm good with that. I'm real good with that and everyone I know is real good with it. Last night was the best advertisement ever for St George. And, it was FREE!

Exactly people just renew BREC taxes and Library taxes and no one really knows if they need as much money as they did last time, but rest assured if they get the money they will spend it.

And yes most see parks and libraries and it's an automatic yes.

The fact that you’re too stupid to see the writing on the wall doesn’t make his post irrelevant. He’s showing that there’s a pattern.

Ol’ Blowingchunks really seems afraid of St. George becoming a reality. I mean like personal stake afraid.
