Was Diane Sawyer special tonight. Caught last 15 minutes and it smacks of “the devil you know.”
They hilighted female bartenders (who deserve own distinction) and waitressea who “HAVE” to tip to make a living.
I see it as best argunent ever to advocate against culture of tipping and have establishment owners figure out how to run a business paying people $2.30/hour.
BTW - in perfect world - an attractive, NEW face to a perhaps buzzed man, might stumble a tad.

Technically, an employer is supposed to make up any shortfall you have, relative to tips, below minimum wage. Not really sure how may do but that is actually the law which allows you to pay less than minimum wage for staff expected to get tips.
