Summary: First world problems.

I just don’t get it. We have been getting non stop isolated showers for the past week and there’s no letting up in the forecast. Can’t stand this shite. Grass is needs to be cut again like 2 days after I cut it. My dogs can’t get any play them at the park. Impossible to plan activities outside.

Can someone explain this? Global warming? El nino or some shite?

Lived here for almost 10 years. Dont recall it being like this in July. Usually have some bad spasms in May/June.

This post is a great example of why the private sector is devaluing degrees from many institutions.

Rainfall in May and June 2018 is about half of what it was in 2017.

I know right? Weather is like so crazy.

I mean..it's fricking hot here. Every day for some reason this summer...it's at least 100 degrees here.

Just don't get it. It's like I live in a desert or something.

I know. I’m thinking everything got pushed back. Stayed pretty cool here for April. Seems like Louisiana is a month behind typical.

You live less than 50 miles from the coast and you need someone to explain to you why it rains a lot?

It's a question of where's the high pressure. Sinking air and warmer layers above the ground keep the storms in check, like most of June.

We've been on the edge of one recently and have seen little lows move east to west ride over the area, so it rains everyday.

Just summertime stuff around here. If it's not appallingly hot, it's about to rain somewhere.

I wish it would rain every day until mid OCT. I rather be wet from rain than sweat when its 92 w/ a dew point of 75+. Bring on LA winter for me.
