I’m hopeful for yall but we need to dream big and play to our strengths. We have the infrastructure and the potential to become the Saudi Arabia of clean water. The world’s water fountain.
Our state capital should look like Venice, Italy as a showcase model for the planet to observe twenty first century flood control in action.
We need good jobs, prideful jobs, to employ all of us into a better tomorrow.

The electrical grid is all interconnected so why would you need to be located near a power plant?

Direct high line link to nuclear plant to ensure "green" electricity?

just going to be another coal plant.
Why would they need to build a new one when Big Cajun 2 is sitting idle on the other side of the river with a mountain of coal ready to burn??

Once META utilizes all the nuclear capacity then Entergy will have to fire up the mothballed plants.

If you live nearby, remember the Resistance will try to nuke these sites first once AI turns on us.

It was sold to the state for around $3200/acre in early 2000s. It’s prime delta farmland which is worth a lot.

If they are, you can bet it’s not to utilize any ‘highly-educated’ work force in the area. If anything it’s tax breaks / incentives / low cost something or another. But not workers, lol.

Megasites were all the rage in southern states in the late 90s and early 2000s. Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia got some big auto plants utilizing them, but LA was not as fortunate.

Advocate just dropped the news. I’m not paying to read it though.
