12 year old single malt and about 4 hours of fitful sleep most nights seems to do fairly well for me....

I gotta say the best thing to being sharp tomorrow is not drinking for the two days before. I’m noticeably sharper when I cut alcohol for a few days

Wait till you quit drinking for 30 days, 60, 180

You’ll feel like Bradley Cooper in Limitless and will wonder why you wasted all those years wandering the deserts of lost inebriation

An occasional Allegra D is alright in my book

BC powder can also give a little boost

Sleep, take a shower in the morning, get dressed.

Sleep, drink breakfast blend coffee (more caffeine), smoke a couple of cigarettes, take a dump while doing crossword puzzles, shower, shave, get dressed. I rarely eat breakfast, usually just a banana, an apple or a tangerine.

I will say, when I had to give a presentation to 10-200 people, xanax is my drug of choice. I was usually amped, had some stage fright, but I knew content inside and out. It calmed me down, along with walking around on a stage, (I can't stand behind a podium), asking questions, looking at a particular person, instead of the crowd, clicking the remote to distract to the next subject.

One of the things that I emphasized as a Boy Scout leader was public speaking. (Minus the xanax). Every one of my Eagle Scouts have no problem speaking in any public situation. From skits to leadership roles in the troop, to addressing a merit badge ceremony, to delivering a sermon at church. They have done well.

I didn't mean to threadjack. I just want to say mental performance is bettered by stress and being uncomfortable.
