Melissa Etheridge’s son passed away due to opioid addiction

I almost lost a brother under the same circumstances. It’s no joke, and I wish we’d do more to combat it.

Horrible situation and obviously sucks for her.
Having said that, David Crosby had absurdly serious drug issues for decades and this was known to her when she decided he would be the father. She was blinded by the/his creative brilliance. In another scenario, it could have worked out but there were inherent risks.

I said she’d have been better off just going to a Dodgers game and randomly choosing another donor from the nearest concession line.
