Her original sentence was ridiculous. Guilty or not, she's done her time and paid her price.

I found the 40-50 year old who moved from BR to Livingston when he got married. He still wears cargo shorts and flip flops when he buys his wardrobe from Academy. And his wife cheated on him and left for another man.

Now that she has been found not guilty does anyone think that she was indeed no guilty in terms of her involvement?

Was the so called “victim” in this case Dennis’s ex wife Cynthia?

Nevermind. I see that it was his first ex wife and it sounds like they’ll eventually be charges against her as well.

There use to be a Lake Charles news outlet that reported she went to Mexico like 13-14 times in a single year. They arrested her arse at the cruise port.

I still think she was some kind of mule.

The amount of folks claiming she is some sort of victim are retarded, identify with her bad life choices to closely, or both.

So, you’re saying she’s on the market? Coming to a dating site near you.

Unless the website is outdated, she has a young son and a fiance'.

Do you think her bad life choices warrant a prison sentence? If so, which crime are you referring to?

She had sex with a drugged woman. If she was a man she’d easily have a prison sentence for 10-15 years. I don’t think she was “manipulated” into that.

What about her gives her less accountability for her decisions than anyone else?

I don’t see how some of you enforce zero accountability on someone because of their gender.

Have her take a polygraph and ask her if she knew what she was doing was wrong. I think we both know what the answer would be.

she on OF yet?
this may sound stupid at first but actually people are curious. I bet she could roll in alot for cash for a Lil while.

This was nothing more than a 3 some and the woman fell asleep, the party continued. The sleeper saved face and claimed she didnt know shite but yet she was naked for God knows how long before the video, showed up for drugs and fricking. They were fooling around. Court made it look like rape because of the serious of other crimes commited by the guy in jail.

So you think she should get a life sentence because she licked some cat? Especially after the victim lied in the first trial?
We all know Perkins was the one that drugged her.

Buddy. You’re either might missing some key facts about the case or you’re a dumbass. There is clear evidence that proves the victim wasn’t unconscious and there are numerous texts that prove the 3-some was not only consensual, it was orchestrated by Perkins and the victim.

well this is interesting

KIRAN

quote:

Short said deliberations focused not only on the video itself, but also on the circumstances leading up to it. “The things leading up to that video are what’s not been portrayed to the public,” Short said. “I think (Curtin) is actually just as much a victim as anybody else in Dennis Perkins’ life. You could tell that (Curtin) was manipulated from the very, very start of her relationship with Perkins.” He said testimony about Curtin’s personal life, including her 2020 interview with investigators, influenced how jurors viewed her. During that interview, Curtin described emotional struggles in her marriage, which Short said contributed to jurors seeing her as vulnerable. “She stated that she had to pack up her kids and go stay with (Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard),” Short said, recalling evidence presented at trial. Ard was a friend of Curtin and her then husband. “Anytime a woman feels the need to pack up her kids and leave her house, that’s domestic abuse. To me, something ain’t right in that situation. “She (confided) in Dennis, and he portrayed himself as being a shoulder to lean on and someone who would listen. She confided in him, and that ultimately led to him grooming her. (Dennis) is a demon of a man. There’s no words for the type of person he is.”
so while dennis perkins was terrorizing women, including melanie curtin, she frequently "packed up her kids" and went to stay with Jason Ard. and yet Jason Ard knew nothing about his predatory deputy...

Jason Ard should be in jail for endangering the public and covering it up

In a state full of corrupt, scumbag politicians, he somehow manages to stand out for his corrupt, scumbag antics.

Wait, what? So there was a husband, Ard and Dennis? Make it make sense.
