I bought a $2 ticket because the odds go way up between 0 and 1. Odds get slightly better from 1 to 2, but nothing like the improvement between 0 and 1.

OTOH, the customer ahead of me today spent $80, and the one behind me spent $150.

I eat ramen a few times a week so I can afford a lottery ticket. It is my enjoyment so F you for hating on my enjoyment. I know I'm going to lose but I like to participate. It is very much like trying to seduce my wife into sexy time by buying a nice dinner. Diminishing returns.

I'm an old man recovering from prostate cancer. I've got to pace myself.

Although, perhaps, I could price bionic prostates...
If Oscar Goodman could do it for Steve Austin in 1975...

We can make him better than he was!!!

$300 million maybe?

Hell, Scruffy will accept 50% and be happy.

ETA: is that $487 already post-tax?

Funny and hear you!

If you have 1/300,000,000 chance with your wife, you are luckier than I am with mine!

LINK this website shows the after taxes in each state. Don’t know if this is 100% correct but interesting to see the breakdowns.

Your net payout in Louisiana: $284,238,795

Zactly! Kidding...

1/300,000,000

Better than me sleeping with my wife tonight and worse than getting struck by lightning twice.

No, thats the pre-tax lump sum payout instead of getting it spread over 30 years
