I am trying to find a place there off the interstate mid next wk to meet a friend to give him some supplies for he & his family. Preferably for coffee and/or quick lunch. Are there places like this open? If not, any suggestions for another place close to half way from N.O.?

Pretty much everything is open in Pville right now. There are several CC's coffees and lunch places. You'll have to be more specific with the area that you want to stop.

i swear people are going out of their way on here just to let others know what good things they are doing.

Right. People can't look on google to see what restaurants are open in pville then call them?

About two miles away from the interstate, located on Highway 621 (Exit 73) ... Tee Wayne's.

Waitaminute.. So you're telling me the smiling and grateful faces of the victims they help are supposed to give them a feeling of validation instead of trying to get it from bragging to others about it??
